Application:
Allow a border of 5-10mm around the surface to be coated. If coating is required of rubber seals and non-porous frames, be sure to apply liberally, 2 coats for ease of removal once product has dried and protection is no longer required.
We highly recommend to apply silca spray before application of shield n peel to glass surface. Some types of glass (for example low E) have a soft surface and will bond to the shield N peel making it hard to remove. Our recommended best practise is to apply the Silca spray and then the shield N peel on a small surface leaving overnight following by removal the next day. If this removal is good then it is `likely’ safe to proceed with the project application.
