When it comes to soft flooring surfaces (carpets, etc.) impact protection is not normally an issue. For cut-pile carpets a self adhesive Carpet film and Breathable White can be used.

For loop and cut pile carpets or protection for carpets for a longer period of time – loose fitting membrane can be used, either a polypropylene or polyethylene sheeting as as Polyweave Carpet Film Blue can be used. This can then be fixed in place using either tapes, or for a loop pile carpet using a male Velcro dry fix method.

Breathable White

Breathable White provides a strong moisture and dust resistant barrier yet still allows the carpet to breathe. For instance, moisture from ‘green’ concrete floors or water based flooring adhesive can still be released while the carpet is being protected. Through combining a liquid-absorbing and dust trapping surface layer with a tough tear-resistant membrane, Breathable White will ensure your clean up costs are kept to a minimum. 

Polyweave Blue

Interwoven polypropylene mesh rolls that are both rip and puncture resistant. Providing long lasting protection from heavy foot traffic. This flexible material is perfect for protecting carpet for long term use.
